Just letting some steam off, feel free to ignore.

It's amazing how everyone considers themselves an artist just because one has become popular because of it.
Honestly, though ...

-Photoshop does not make you an artist. Especially not the filters. Before even thinking of digital media one should improve their anatomy skill to a point where one can tell the difference between a platypus and a human.

-Please use categories correctly. ,Quad' describes a character which is fully animal, ,Anthro' a char which still resembles an animal but shows human anatomy and behaviour and last but not least the ,Human', where animal ears and tails are allowed but don't make him an Anthro. Please. It makes me mad.

-Find your own style or die. People will not worship you and your art just because it's Manga.

-Using MSPaint will not make you lose your face, life and virility.

-JUST PICK UP A PENCIL AND SOME PAPER. You will not need anything fancy to become a decent artist.

-Unsure about anatomy? Don't go batshit and take a photography of whatever you want to draw.
Tracing doesn't count.

-The term 'Original Characters' involves 'ORIGINAL'.

-Be thankful whenever one does you a favour and draws your character. It's not to be taken for granted.

-'sides, characters don't have to be psychotic/bloodthirsty/violent to be interesting. In fact, a healthy mix is quite recommended.

-There are enough animals to choose from, not only wolves. But I cannot force you to not to choose one.

Note: Despite 'you' I am not addressing anyone personally.

Furthermore I'd like to express my feelings about a more or less interesting phenomenon ... there is no real word to define it, let's just call it 'National irritation'.
Some folks consider themselves Japanese because they've read all the Naruto-Mangas in the world, plus special editions and know that 'Baka' isn't supposed to mean 'Honey'.
Don't be delusional. You are not japanese just because you write OMG KAWAII SAS-uu-KE/NARUTO Slash-Fics. Don't behave like a moron by putting 'desu' at the end of every sentence. It doesn't even make sense. 'I've had cake for breakfast, desu' = 'I've had cake for breakfast, it is'? Wtf.

Other people like to believe they're total Nazis because of their love to Rammstein/Tokio Hotel/wtfever and because they feel a certain hatred towards jews.

The Third Reich is fascinating!
-> I cannot deny that. It was a horrible yet almost magic time where a man defied logic and committed incredible crimes against humanity just because of his insane beliefs, his 'tragical' past and hunger for power.

The Third Reich is over. Germany is democratic and its habitants have less self esteem than most americans. Nowadays, 'Nazis' can be found in other countries more often than here.

Plus I hate it how some attempt to speak german and fail. And with fail I mean an even more epic fail than George Bush. One should never, never rape a language. (But hey, it's not like my english would be perfect. At least I'm working on it.)
